Due to the expulsion of Canadian diplomats by the Government of India as of Oct. 20, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has been forced to temporarily pause all in-person services at Consulates until further notice.
While Centennial continues to welcome students from India, and IRCC continues to accept and process applications from India, the expulsion of many of our diplomats will unfortunately have an impact on Visa processing times. To learn more, view the Canadian government’s statement at Global Affairs Canada.
If you are an international student wishing to begin your studies at Centennial this winter (January 2024), please read our Frequently Asked Questions to learn how delays may impact you.
We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates when available.
